All Things Pacifiers

We have tested a few of the most popular pacifier brands over the last three months and these are the brands we have come to love and some of the brands that our daughter Margret just isn't a fan of. We know that every baby is different and understand that others may love what we dislike and dislike what we love. Our reviews are simply to inform other moms about what works for us! Please feel free to let us know your oppinions and we will add them to the reviews!

Ryan and Rose PATpat

We love the Ryan and Rose PATpat in our Neatly Nested Home!

Pros:

  • Beautiful design
  • doubles as both a teether and a pacifier
  • The company also makes pacifier clips that are beautiful and a great safe option (they do not rust like some others we have tried!)
  • Ryan and Rose is a small business that gives back in a big way! (check out their website for more info https://www.ryanandrose.co/pages/about-ryan-and-rose )

Cons:

  • On the pricer side for a pacifier

Wubbanub

A crowd favorite, and a favorite in our home. Margaret loves her panda Wubbanub.

Pros:

  • Tons of cute animals to choose from
  • Connected to Margaret's favorite pacifier, the Soothie
  • The attached animal makes it easy for holding onto

Cons:

  • Hard to wash, I always seem to get the animal wet!
  • In our home, the dog thinks its his toy making said washing very important!

MaM Pacifier

The newest addition to our pacifier collection.

Pros:

Cons:

Philips Avent Soothie

This is the most used pacifier in our home.  It was what we were given in the NICU and we never really looked back! Margaret defiantly prefers the Soothie over all other brands.

Pros:

  • Easy to clean
  • Inexpensive
  • readily available to purchase at most stores

Cons:

  • There are different age ranges, after the 0-3 month version you must move up to the 6+

BIBS

Also a new addition to our pacifier collection, Margaret is not a huge fan but the nipple is much different form her beloved Soothie

Pros:

  • Smaller nipple size, would be great for newborns

Cons:

Doodle & Co. Pop Pacifier

A last resort pacifier in our home

Pros:

  • Aesthetically pleasing, this pacifier is defiantly more exciting then the basic Soothie
  • Nipple retracts if dropped so it does not get dirty when it falls

Cons:

  • If the pacifier is spit out Margaret can not simply just put it back into her mouth. (Maybe this will change as she gets older)
